It started with my son, and a love for space.

I was simply looking for a reward chart. One that could help us build better routines, encourage positive habits, and offer a bit of structure during our busy days. My son loves space, the stars, the planets, the idea of missions and discoveries. I figured it would be easy to find something that blended that interest with the accountability of a reward chart.

But what I found surprised me.

Every chart I came across was either overly clinical or visually underwhelming. Plain white grids with cartoon clip art, stars that felt cold and generic, or pastel-colored charts that looked like they belonged in a medical waiting room.

None of them felt like they could ignite imagination, let alone fit beautifully into our home. Most felt more like punishment trackers than celebration tools.

That’s when I realized:

We didn’t need another sticker chart.

We needed a journey.

Reimagining the Reward Chart

I didn’t set out to start a business. I set out to create something my child would love, something that would not just nudge him to complete a task, but inspire him to feel proud, seen, and excited along the way.

I wanted to design something that:

• Looked beautiful enough to hang proudly in any room

• Felt like an adventure, not a chore

• Worked as a tool for connection, not just behavior tracking

• Could grow with families over time, adapting to different goals, routines, and stages

That idea became Saisu, a warm, story-rich brand built to bring reward charts to life in a whole new way.

The Name “Saisu”

In my culture, Saisu means “goodnight.”

It is a simple word, but one that holds deep meaning in our family. Saying Saisu at the end of each day has always felt like more than a routine, it is a moment of connection, calm, and care. When we began dreaming up this brand, it was my wife who said, “Call it Saisu.” And it felt instantly right.

Because that is what we hope this product brings to other families, a sense of rhythm, warmth, and togetherness at the end of a long day.

Saisu is more than a chart. It is a reflection of how the smallest moments, a sticker placed, a goal reached, a gentle goodnight, can help shape lifelong memories.
